Phormium cookianum ‘Blondie’

An exciting, new addition to the range of NZ native flax. ‘Blondie’s’ amazing, cascading form is it’s big point of difference. Fresh green and lemon stripes, strappy foliage. Attractive container specimen. Striking feature plant for the home garden, or for dramatic mass displays along borders and pathways. Grows approximately 30cm high x 60cm wide.

Performs best in a sunny, open position in well drained soil. Tolerates most soil types. Feed annually with low phosphate fertiliser to maintain strong colour. Water regularly after planting until established, when it will then tolerate dry periods. Mulch well to conserve soil moisture.
