Passiflora quadrangularis (Giant Granadilla)

Produces the largest fruit of any species within the genus. Perennial climber native to the neotropics. Ornamentally valuable as a shade plant, grown over pergolas or fences.

Plant in a sunny spot with excellent drainage. Not wind hardy, and likes protection from cold. Grows best in mild temperatures. Passionfruit are heavy feeders and require a rich, organic soil and regular applications of fertiliser during the growing season.
