Myrsine salicina (Toro)

Handsome, fast growing native tree. Slender, erect-growing tree with leathery, glossy, long, narrow, bronze-green leaves. As the weather cools in autumn, the young leaves turn a striking pink-amber colour. Pink berries in autumn are relished by birds. Superb container plant. Grows approximately 4m high x 2m wide.

Grows in sun or shade. Prefers sites with good soil and moisture. Tolerates both moist and dry positions. Frost tender when young.
