Magnolia stellata ‘Royal Star’ (Star Magnolia)

A compact, multi-stemmed grower. Star-shaped, white flowers with a touch of pink open from pale-pink buds in early-spring. Grows approximately 2 x 2m.

Full sun position with rich, moist, well drained soil that doesn’t dry out in summer. Benefits from mulch and regular feeding. Magnolias need to be sheltered from strong winds and frost in spring, where this can damage flowers and new growth.
