Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’ (Evergreen Magnolia)

Compact, narrowly-columnar tree. Glossy, deep-green leaves with brown felt underneath. White, citrus-scented flowers are borne from spring through autumn. Excellent for the smaller garden and as a street tree. Grows to 6m high x 4m wide in 10 years.

Full sun to part shade. Will grow in most soils including clay. Tolerant of poorly-drained positions. Suitable for exposed and coastal conditions.
