Large fruited and disease resistant selection from Kaitaia. Very attractive, compact tree reaching 6-9m with large, waxy, dull green leaves.

Clusters of woolly white perfumed flowers in winter followed by oval, yellow, juicy fruit in summer. The skin is smooth and slightly hairy. Excellent flavour with a good balance between acid and sweetness. The flesh is firm and has apricot/plum flavour. Self-fertile.

Plant in well drained, fertile soil with access to plenty of moisture in the growing season. Provide full sun. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise in spring and late summer. Very hardy to cold, drought and coastal conditions. Frost tolerant once established.
