Manuka. One of the ground-covering Manuka family that forms a mound, excellent for covering banks with masses of single red flowers on and off throughout the year. A reasonably vigorous, easy care plant that only needs a trim occasionally as provided. Grows approximately 75cm high x 150cm wide.

Great for attracting bees and to provide last winter and early spring colour at a time when the garden needs a lift. Leptospermums grow well in New Zealand conditions which other plants may struggle coping well with clay soils, frost, coastal conditions and other extremes.

Grows best in full sun and will tolerate dry conditions once established. Hardy to frost and poor soils. Apart from an annual trim after flowering to keep bushy and compact, Manuka are an easy plant to grow and maintain.
