Top performing Leigh Lavenders are ideally suited to New Zealand gardens. Pat Leigh features a unique combination of deep purple, fragrant flower heads with soft lemon wings atop grey-green, aromatic foliage. These long flowering, quick growing plants love the hot dry Kiwi summer climate. Excellent for use in pots, as a statement plant in the garden or as a small clipped hedge. Grows approximately 30 x 30cm.
Lavenders grow best in full sun in a well drained soil. A light trim or deadhead during spring and summer will encourage repeat flowering. Trim more vigorously at the end of summer to rejuvenate your plant for spring. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established.
