‘Diamonds in the Dark’ is an exciting collection of Crepe Myrtle featuring stunning, near-black foliage which unfolds in early spring. ‘Crimson Red’ has dazzling, magenta-red blooms that sparkle like jewels against the dark foliage. ‘Crimson Red’ flowers from late spring through autumn. This small, compact, deciduous tree is a show-stopper in all sized gardens, planted on it’s own or in a row as a boundary hedge. Grows approximately 3m high x 2.5m wide.

Grows best in full sun. Water regularly while young. Drought hardy once established. Coastal tolerant. Frost hardy. Protect from harsh winds. Prune in late winter while still deciduous. Fertilise in late winter.
