Indigofera decora (Chinese Indigo)

Charming, small, graceful shrub, with multi-stems emerging from the clump once established. Soft green, pinnate foliage emerges a bronzy-pink in spring. Lovely long racemes of pink, wisteria-like flowers from spring until autumn. Each flower head holds up to 40 single blooms. These hang delicately down like the skirts of a ballerina. Deciduous. Grows approximately 50 x 50cm.

Full sun to part shade. Flowers best in full sun. Prefers a warm, sheltered site with good, moist, well drained soil for best results. Tolerant of poor soils, and drought once established . Keep sheltered from wind. Tolerant of some frosts.
