A narrow, upright column of sturdy, small, dark, evergreen foliage. Produces very small, white flowers in spring followed by black berries. Adds a great, low maintenance architectural boost to any garden. Plant in a pot as a focal point, as a screen, or along an edging for structural texture. Slow growing but easy care. Doesn’t require pruning to maintain a tight shape. Grows approximately 3m high x 1m wide in 10 years.
Prefers full sun, or part shade. Performs best in moist, well drained, slightly acidic soils. Tolerant to other soil conditions including some drought once established. Hardy to frost and coastal conditions.
