A cos type lettuce made popular by restaurant chefs. Easy to grow and space saving with green, well-filled, crisp hearts that hold well. Uniform hearts with a compact habit. Vigorous, fast maturing, with good tolerance to ‘bolting’, and resistance to downy mildew, sclerotinia, and now aphids. Rich in vitamins, especially folate, and dietary fibre.

Sow few and often (every 3 weeks) for continual supply and commence harvest as soon as a heart is formed.
