$25.99

Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Pee Wee’ (Oak Leaf Hydrangea)

A relatively low-growing shrub, perfect for small gardens. Creamy-white, double flowers that fade to pink with beautiful autumn foliage. Superb as a specimen, used in borders or group plantings. The large, Oak tree-like leaves hold well into the autumn and then turn shades of red and purple before falling. An attractive, hardy shrub. Grows approximately 1 x 1m.

Requires a position protected from hot sun and strong winds, in part or dappled shade. Prefers a moist, well drained soil, benefiting from regular watering in summer and mulching. Fertilise in spring for optimum results. Prune old stems that have finished flowering. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established.
