Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’ (Hakone Grass, Japanese Forest Grass)

Slow-growing grass with purple stems and green striped, yellow leaves. Reddish-brown flower spikes in early autumn and into winter. Spectacular in pots and containers. Grows approximately 40cm high x 50cm wide.

Tough and easy to grow. Prefers a part shade position with moist, well drained soil. Cold hardy.
