Tropical-looking, deeply lobed leaves cover this stunning shade tree, providing the most nutritional fruit. Grow as a compact tree in a container on the deck, espaliered against a fence or a large, sprawling tree for the kids to climb. Attractive, deciduous tree with a spreading, rounded top growing up to 3m in height and 5m wide.

Round, deep purple-blushed, green fruits with thick, white/pale amber flesh. Juicy with a sweet flavour. Very good eating fig with excellent preserving qualities – great for jams! Vigorous growing with long season and late cropping. Producing in between December and April. Self fertile.

Full sun. Plant in warm, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Figs require plenty of moisture during the growing season to enhance sweet, juicy fruit. Prune annually in late winter to maintain desired shape and size. Fertilise in spring. Frost tolerant.
