Feijoa sellowiana ‘Antoinette’

Attractive, small to medium, semi upright, evergreen tree. Great as a hedge or stand alone specimen. Growing to 4 x 4m with dense, green foliage. Covered with Pohutukawa-like flowers at Christmas.

Fruits from April onwards. Produces medium to large fruit with a semi-smooth, green skin, sweet, tasty, aromatic flavour and abundance of soft pulp. Brilliant source of vitamin C and dietary fibre. Edible flower petals can be used in a salad.

Plant all year round in fertile, well drained soil with plenty of organic matter in a full sun position. Mulch after planting to support a healthy root system. Frost and drought tolerant. Fertilise in late winter. Cross pollination will enhance fruit set and size. Frost and drought tolerant.
