Rivers Copper Beech, Europeans Beech

Large, dome-shaped tree with an open branch structure and smooth grey bark. Rich broad, shiny leaves are blackish, red in colour. This colouring is held throughout the summer. Leaves drop cleanly in autumn. A handsome aristocrat of trees. Ideal for specimen or farm plantings. Grows approximately 10m high x 6m wide.

Full sun with well drained soil. Avoid clay soils. Drought tolerant.
