Escallonia ‘Red Dream’ is a tough and easy to grow, dwarf shrub. It has glossy, green foliage all year round and produces tubular, rosy-red flowers from spring to late summer. It is an excellent hedging or background plant and clips well so can also be used in topiary. Grows approximately 1 x 1m.

Prefers a full sun to part shade position in well drained soil. Prune to shape after flowering to encourage bushier growth. Tolerant of coastal conditions but requires protection from harsh, cold winds and frost.
