Daphne bholua (Himalayan Daphne, Paper Daphne)

Evergreen. Tall, narrow, sturdy, evergreen shrub with pointed, leathery, deep green leaves. Produces terminal clusters of long-lived, sweetly fragrant, pink-white flowers in winter. Grows approximately 2m high x 1m wide.

Daphnes prefer to be planted in cool, deeply-worked, free-draining but moisture retentive soil which is lime-free. Part sun position with protection from harsh afternoon sun. Protect from wind. May be semi-deciduous in particularly frosty locations. Prune if necessary after flowering.
