Ctenanthe burle-marxii ‘Amagris’
An attractive, tropical plant sporting ovular, pale grey-green leaves with slender, dark stripes and deep purple undersides. Like others in the prayer plant family, the leaves of the ctenanthe will close upwards at night, reopening again in the morning.
A lovely, easy care plant. Can be grown in bright, indirect to lower light levels. Use a well draining potting mix and allow top part of the soil to dry between waterings. Benefits from increased humidity. Can be grown outdoors in a shady position protected from frosts.
