A hybrid citrus from lemon and mandarin lineage. Mild, sweet and refreshing flavour similar to that of a grapefruit. Very juicy and sweetly scented – a fresh glass of lemonade, wrapped up and portable! The longer you leave the fruit to ripen, the sweeter it becomes. Self fertile and a heavy cropper during winter and spring, with some fruiting occasionally in summer. Grows approximately 3m high x 2.5m wide in 8 years.

Ideal in a full sun position with fertile, well drained soil. Protect from frosts while young, more tolerant once established and when mulched well. Heavy feeder requiring a high nitrogen fertiliser through spring and summer. Water regularly during fruit development in hot, dry spells. Prune in spring.
