Cherry Compact Stella Dwarf
A semi-dwarf cherry tree that is perfect for the home gardener with limited space. The fruit are large, dark red, firm and sweet. ‘Compact Stella’ is a self-fertile variety and reliably produces heavy crops or large, dark red fruit from a young age. Fruit ripens December-January. Matures to approximately 4m high x 3m wide.
Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot in free draining soil prepared with compost. Stake the tree to keep it secure until established. Apply ican Slow Food at the base when planting. Water well during prolonged dry spells and during fruit development. Frost hardy while dormant. Protect fresh buds from spring frosts.
