Beautiful, formal double, large, bright pink flowers shadowed faint lavender, blooming early winter through mid spring. Magnificent flowering evergreen with a vigorous, compact, upright bush growth habit. Suitable for general gardens, containers, espalier or bonsai. Ideal for screening and can be closely clipped. Height of 2m x 1.5m.
Plant in cool, moist, lime-free soil. Camellias are quite hardy, happy in full sun or part shade. Protect from high winds and frosts. Cold hardy. Apply acidic fertiliser, compost and/or peat moss to improve pH of soil. Mulch roots in summer to keep cool and retain moisture.
