Camellia Transnokoensis 1.3L
$18.99
Camellia transnokoensis
Tiny, single, white flowers marked with a distinctive red spot on the outer petals. Lightly fragrant. Flowers profusely mid-late season from winter through spring. If left to grow naturally, C. transnokoensis grows into a small, evergreen tree with a strong, upright form approximately 5m tall. However they can be trimmed to a more manageably sized specimen or for hedges. New leaf growth comes out a gorgeous russet shade which then matures out into a deep green.
Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be trimmed in spring.
