Camellia cuspidata x ‘Spring Festival’

Small, loose semi-double, peony-form blooms a mid-pink shade with lighter tones towards the centre. Borne in great profusion mid-late season from winter through spring. Dense, upright, evergreen shrub with a columnar form. Growing approximately 3m tall x 1.5m wide. New growth has a russet coloured tone to it which matures out to small, dark green leaves. Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espalier.

Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be lightly trimmed in spring.
