Camellia x ‘Night Rider’

Small, deep very dark red, semi-double flowers with waxy petals and brilliant golden stamens. Late flowering variety. Very dark, glossy, narrow, evergreen foliage with a slender, upright growth habit. Grows approximately 1.8m high x 1m wide. Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espalier.

Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be lightly trimmed in spring.
