Camellia sasanqua ‘Crimson King’

This plant is a standard form topiary on an 800mm tall trunk. Image is an example of product and slight variations are to be expected.

Large, crimson red-pink blooms with prominent, central, yellow stamens. Flowers early autumn through winter. Open, upright, spreading form with glossy, dark green foliage. Growing approximately 3m tall x 2m wide (or prune to shape and size). Ideal for screens, hedging, topiary, large containers and espalier.

Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Trim regularly to maintain shape – best done in spring.
