Camellia williamsii x reticulata ‘Black Lace’

Beautiful, large, dark red, formal double blooms with incurved petals having a silvery sheen and sometimes a narrow, black margin. Flowers throughout spring, providing a gorgeous contrast against the dark, glossy foliage. A compact, upright, evergreen shrub growing to approximately 2.5m tall x 1.5m wide. Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espalier.

Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be lightly trimmed in spring.
