Brunnera macrophylla ‘Silver Heart’
Striking, silver foliage highlighted by crisp, deep green veins throughout the leaf and on the underside. Truly brightens up darker, shaded corners of the garden. Produces clusters of small, cobalt-blue flowers on stalks towering above the foliage late winter-spring. Low-growing, clump forming perennial. Ideal for mass planting to filling low-maintenance areas. Grows approximately 30cxm high x 60cm wide.
Shaded position, tolerating some sun. Fertilise after flowering and trim older foliage to encourage fresh regrowth from the plant’s centre. Well drained soil. Keep adequately watered until established, when the plant becomes more tolerant.
