Hybridberry ‘Berry Delight’ is a Boysenberry-Loganberry cross, with Loganberry being a raspberry-blackberry cross. Mouth-watering, large, dark, rich red fruit with a vibrant flavour from the mixed berry profiles. Heavy cropper, ripening for harvest over December-January. Moderately vigorous, deciduous grower with thornless canes – as a bramble, this plant forms a great screen. Self fertile. Grows approximately 2m x 2m.

The best way to have Hybridberries is eaten fresh, straight from the plant, or chilled for later use in desserts, added to a fresh summer salad or a bowl of ice-cream. The berries are ready when easily removed. Hybridberries are high in antioxidants, full of minerals and vitamins, and plenty of fibre.

Plant in full sun with moist, well drained soil. Benefits from regular feeding and mulching of rich, organic matter. Protect from wind, especially salt exposure.
