Azalea mollis ‘Sweet Inspiration’ (Deciduous)
Deciduous Azalea. ‘Sweet Inspiration’ produces abundant trusses of cream flowers with soft pink edges to give a blush-pink overall look with a small yellow flare. Very free-flowering and sweetly scented. Growing in a rounded form to approximately 1.5m.
Prefers full sun but will grow well in partly shaded positions. Requires well-draining, rich, acidic soil. Fully hardy and tolerant to frosts. Water regularly during hot and dry periods. Fertilise in spring with acid fertiliser and mulch with organic material. Prune for shape if needed, and deadhead old buds to encourage new growth next season.
