Astelia banksii (Shore Astelia)

An attractive, silver foliaged, NZ native, clumping plant with narrow leaves. Ideal as an accent plant, with a strong architectural habit. Evergreen. Produces panicles of fragrant, pale green flowers in summer. Grows approximately 1 x 1m.

Best in full sun and well drained soil. Wind and salt tolerant, suitable for coastal positions. Drought and frost hardy.
