Can be eaten fresh or used for preserving. ‘Sundrop’ is partially self-fertile and crops better when cross pollinated by ‘Trevatt’. Suitable for many regions. Grows approximately 4m high x 3m wide.
Full sun in well drained soil. Hardy to frosts while dormant, but new buds need to be protected from spring frosts. Shelter from strong winds to protect flower and fruit development. Water during dry periods. Fertilise and mulch with compost.
