Malus domestica ‘Ballerina Bolero’ – (Columnar Apple)

Attractive, white-tinged pink spring blossoms, followed by shiny, green eating apples with a golden blush. Mid season – harvest April. Pollinate with any other ‘Ballerina’ variety.

‘Ballerina’ apple trees have a columnar habit that makes them ideal for a host of planting situations. Fully grown they are no more than 4m high and 30cm across. Can be grown practically anywhere – in borders, containers, lining paths and driveways, against fences, or planted in a row as a screen.

Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot. Performs best in free-draining soil prepared with organic matter. Tolerates all soil types. Stake the tree to keep it secure until established. Easy to care for, requiring almost no pruning. Water well during dry spells while young, and during fruit development.
