Ajuga reptans ‘Catlin’s Giant’ (Carpet Bugle)
A beautiful groundcover which features larger, brilliant, deep bronze-purple foliage, topped with sparkling, sapphire blue flower spikes throughout spring and summer. A great weed-supressing groundcover. Grows approximately 10cm high with a spread of 60-80cm. Flower spikes extend up to 25cm tall.
Will grow in either sun or shade. Tolerates almost all soil types but thrives in a consistently moist, well drained soil. Frost hardy and suitable for coastal positions. Feed in spring. Can be mowed after flowering to clean up.
