Agave attenuata (Fox Tail Agave)

Perennial succulent with a thick stem, crowned with a rosette of sword-shaped, spineless, soft grey-green leaves. Arching flower stem to 1.5m long is densely covered with yellow flowers in spring/summer just once at maturity. Grows approximately 1.5m high x 2m wide.

Plant in full sun in an open, airy spot and select position carefully to obtain best use of it’s natural habit to lie to one side. Well drained soil. Drought tolerant but benefits from water during periods of intense heat. Frost tender. Suitable for coastal conditions.
