Acer palmatum dissectum ‘Crimson King’ (Japanese Weeping Maple)

This weeping maple has slightly larger leaves than most other weeping maples and is a strong grower. Large, finely-cut leaves hold a deep red-purple throughout the summer. Fiery scarlet-orange tones in autumn. Grows approximately 2 x 2m in 10 years.

Suitable for a full sun to part shade position with protection from blistering afternoon sun. Perfect in sheltered spots, protect from hot, dry and coastal wind. Plant in fertile, moist, well drained soil.
