Winter Rose – Helleborus hybrid ‘Mrs Betty Ranicar’
A lovely strong growing hybrid, from Tasmania. Has huge dark green leaves, sometimes with a gold margin, and exquisite pure white flowers. These flowers are of unique shape, quite ruffled, double petalled, and are larger than most other hybrids. Outstanding, winter colour for decorative containers, and gardens large or small. Grows approximately 50cm high x 50cm wide.
Prefers a full to part shade position with well drained soil. Take care not to allow soil to dry out completely, particularly when grown in full sun or pots. For best results, feed in late autumn and spring with a slow release fertiliser, before and after flowering.
