Harvest Time & Judging

It’s been excellent to see some great progress be made with a scarecrow and the vertical garden wall. The fancy little signs, painted rocks, and colourful insect wall art really give the Faith City garden wonderful character!
We’re glad to see the plants are looking healthier than last time. Fertiliser has made a big difference and the vegetables have thrived.

Mid Challenge Update

Faith City school were new to the Vege Challenge this year. They chose a great new location to set up their gardens and got straight to work installing an irrigation system. There was great student involvement where they started growing plants from seed. An innovative design had them growing lettuces in a plastic drum made for purpose.

For greater success we left recommendations for feeding and mulching. Eager to see how these gardens continue to progress!

Getting Going

We are really keen to be a part of the challenge and are planning a new vege garden which our students will learn from. Can’t wait to start!
