A larger growing Protea with an erect growth habit. It produces many terminal flowers over a long period with peak flowering during the winter months. The flower heads have a silvery-pink bract tipped with a white and black beard. This is a Protea for the larger gardens. The flowers are also ideal for picking. Grows approximately 3 x 3m.

An adaptable Protea that will grow in most well drained, acidic soils in an open, sunny position. Water deeply during prolonged periods of drought while young. Tolerant to light frosts and suitable for coastal conditions. Prune back after flowering.
