Pseudopanax laetus (Five-Finger)

Evergreen. Rapidly growing NZ native with large, leathery, glossy leaves. Wonderful foliage tree with rounded form and bold foliage. Greenish-purple flowers in summer are followed by purple to black fruit. An excellent landscaping plant with year round interest. Good in tubs. Grows approximately 3m high x 2m wide.

Full sun to part shade in well drained soils. Quite hardy. Wind tolerant and suitable for coastal conditions.
