Similar growth habit to Podocarpus totara but with more graceful branches. The golden-yellow leaves are softer to touch and impart a beautiful glow in any garden. Ideal for stony or dry ground. Excellent street tree. Easily trimmed as a screen or hedge. Grows approximately 6m high x 4m wide in 10 years.

Hardy. Prefers full sun but will tolerate a shaded position. Well drained soil. Drought hardy. Avoid wet position. Frost tender when young. Tolerant of wind.
