Exceptionally large trusses of blue-purple blooms with dark, black-purple flare on the upper petal. White stamens contrast nicely with the purple flower. Flowering October through November. Grows to 1.5m.

A sunny position with part shade is ideal. Plant in well drained, moist, acidic soil. Keep well watered through hot, dry periods. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise with acid food spring through autumn.
