This rhododendron has a very good, strong yellow colour, a bright maroon-red throat with spotting and ruffled edges in trusses of up to 22 flowers. Grows approximately 1.5m.

A sunny position with part shade is ideal. Plant in well drained, moist, acidic soil. Keep well watered through hot, dry periods. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise with acid food spring through autumn.
