Camellia japonica ‘Desire’

Exquisite, medium-large, formal double blooms which are white-pale pink with gradually darkening pink edges. Early to late flowering season with a longer holding period than other varieties. Strong, dense, upright growth with a vigorous habit. Deep green, glossy foliage. Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espalier. Grows approximately 2.5m high x 2m wide.

Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be lightly trimmed in spring.
