Claret Cobbler is a very vigorous grower, perfect for those who like to gorge on rhubarb all year round. Grown commercially for it’s large, red stems. Plants multiply rapidly and are easy to grow. Being an evergreen variety, Claret Cobbler grows well all year, especially in warmer areas, Only the stems are edible. It has a higher level of disease resistance than most other varieties.

Grow in a sunny position in well drained, raised beds. Enriching soil with compost will keep crowns healthy and producing for years. Keep soil moist but not wet. Cold tolerant.
