A classic, NZ native plant. Large flax, with large, weeping, shiny green leaves. Produces tall spires of yellow flowers in summer, beloved by native birds, particularly attractive to Tui. Excellent for wind shelter/land stabilisation. Will grow approximately 1.5m tall by 1.5m wide.

Versatile & tolerant of most conditions. Prefers full sun. Drought tolerant. Frost hardy and suitable for coastal conditions.
