Streamside daisy. A medium shrub with a bushy habit. Branches have flaky bark. Branchlets are covered with greyish-white tomentum. Large, linear, dark green and shining leaves with a dense, white tomentum underneath. Numerous flowers heads up to 20 cm across of white, densely packed flowers in spring. Occurs naturally in the North and South Islands, frequently grows along rocky stream banks, and gorges. Grows approximately 1.5m high x 1m wide.
Very hardy and will tolerate dry conditions. Tolerates shade.
