Very attractive, compact tree reaching 6m with large, dull green leaves.

Clusters of woolly, white fragrant flowers in winter, followed by yellow fruit in late spring/summer. The fruit has an excellent sweet, juicy flavour. Use fresh off the tree. Cook in pies or stews and make delicious jams.

Plant in well drained, fertile soil with access to plenty of moisture in the growing season. Provide full sun. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise in spring and late summer. Very hardy to cold, drought and coastal conditions. Frost tolerant once established.
