Escallonia rubra ‘Red Knight’

Fast growing, hardy, evergreen shrub producing masses of small, tubular, deep red flowers in spring through summer. Attractive to bees. Firm, glossy, mid-green foliage gently textured. Grows approximately 2m high x 1m wide, and can be kept trimmed as low as 75cm. We recommend planting 2-3 plants per metre for hedging for a good, dense effect.

Full sun to partial shade. Hardy to various soil conditions other than wet. Salt tolerant and thrives in high winds.
